I take great insult that this Congress, who can't even read through their pork barrell spendulus bill, would have the audacity to state (yes you Mr. Schumer and Mr. Wrangel) that the American people are too "busy" to be listening to what's going on. I've got a clue for you...I not only listen, I hear, which is more then I can say for you. All of Congress is really good at making decisions on our part (spending our money) but not very good at hearing what we have been and continue to tell you...namely, you need to stop wasting our money. Remember, you do work for us...we, the American people, are your employers. And I am now giving you notice, continue on your erroneous ways, chosing to ignore what we have told you...and you will face consequences...namely, you can be impeached; recalled; and at the very least, we will vote you out of your cush job. And don't think we aren't looking at your cush benefits. That may be something else that we need to analyze and review. Afterall, we all need to sacrifice...you included.

The spending of taxpayers money by the government has got so out of hand that the only solution to arrest the politicians who are stealing our taxes to bail out the banks is for the entire Patriotic Movement to march on Washington with enough firepower to place Congress under arrest and then proceed to try them for treason by jury trial. To do this we would need about 2 million armed patriots.
The march on Rome by Mussolini was a bloodless coup. By showing enough force the military will stand aside.

I worked with a company for several years where we spent a great deal of time visiting K-Street lobbyists. At private parties for D.C. insiders you see players from both sides drinking together and laughing at the taxpayers for believeing the stupid crap they spew at a press conference. Literally laughing at you, Obama and Bush are the same - no difference except in presentation.

I am not sure how we send 500 lawyers to Washington, DC in our stead to change our laws. Worse, 100 times that number help them change the laws via staff and lobby. The whole idea of that sort of representation bothers me. Maybe we should have term limits, or limits on prior occupations? The problem is that lawyers are basically socialists wanting to change or write new laws to pump themselves up - with spoils or ego depending upon whether they are progressive or conservative. Both types find out that argument in court is work - either criminal or civil - and that smiling and lying with the help of a large staff is much easier. Like teachers, most of the lawyers in Washington,DC and state capitals couldn't make a living in law. We citizens might try more respect for the sorts of people with real minds that designed limits and balances into our nation of laws and quit changing them so much. We need federal government for a few things - mostly military and nonpoliticized federal courts - but not state criminal matters - murder, rape and abortion. Medical and education are also better left to local government. Ron Reagan was correct, the "problem is government." So make it smaller or be prepared to pay the bureaucratic governmental cost that F.A. Hayek described - for fasicts or socialist styles.

Who is this man called Obama? Where did he come from? Why did he choose the Chicago radicals as his mentors? What does he have in store for America. Once he stepped foot into our White House, he opened the gates of hell and we are just now seeing what he has in store for America. I'm selling my software development company and retiring and getting my Social Security while I can. I can't draw medicare yet, so maybe I'll try medicaid(poor folks coverage). Guess what folks, they turned me down as I do not fit any group... I have to have cervical cancer to get coverage, or a child under 18 in house.
Why should I build a business, just to watch the taxes go sky high to bailout companies that have paid Obama and his five crooked buddies. Let all people age 50 and above, quit or get fired and stay home... get entitlements, free food, and free medical... then take a good look at where America stands. Raising tax rates does not mean increasing tax revenues. Too much recent 'Leglislation' presumes powers NOT granted by the Constitution - there is no 'right to bailout', no power to decide which Businesses are 'too Big to Fail'. No provision to define 'who should pay more, and higher rates' nor 'who should be handed resources confiscated from productive taxpayers'. By defining groups ('Too Rich' vs 'Too Poor' or special rights for selected groups like 'Cuban-Americans' or 'White vs Black') what is accomplished is loss of identity - discrimination against the smallest minority of all - the individual. New Laws should be discussed, refined, and good enough to gain Bi-Partisan support - consequences of passing laws without review are long-lasting and often unexpected. Why can Gays marry, but not Polygamists ? Spending on 'Social' programs and eroding morality must stop, the IRS itself is Billions annually just to operate - and the 16th Amendment violates the 4th Amendment. With 'Fair Tax' (federal sales tax, elimination of Income Taxes and all associated recordkeeping) the IRS is not needed, audits would be far simpler, saving would be more rewarding. Spending should be only to regulate Interstate commerce and provide for International security (Armed Forces, even ambassadors). The UN must never become a part of our government - the UN is run by Terrorist Nations, Petty Dictatorships and has already been grossly overfunded by the USA. Those would be Changes that I could really believe in.

You know I do believe the Government is breaking laws but I have no idea how to go about stopping them. Is there a lawyer anywhere that would tackle it. I am attending a tea party tomorrow but dont want to stop after that, We need to keep it going to be taken seriously. I can't help but think this teabagging movement represents a more mainstream identity of growing right-wing hate in this country. With new reports of growth of white supremacist recruiting, recruitment of members of the military and the Father Coughlin-esque ranting of Glenn Beck and Limbaugh I'm worried we're seeing the rise of new hate movement. Seeing their signs - blaming Obama for economic woes he's had all of three months to address, Obama's Plan:White Slavery, The American Taxpayers are the Jews for Obama's ovens, Obama is the Anti-Christ, drumming up paranoia about guns, and internment camps, secession from the union for the love of Benji, Obama is a Muslim, let's waterboard Obama - my interpretation of these events isn't that they are legitimately angry at government spending or taxation. I just don't buy it. After all, why get angry now? We've spent hundreds of billions under Bush, and wasted huge amounts in foreign wars and disastrous national policies. The tax increase? 3% on those making more than 250k? I somehow don't see that as taxing our children's future away, or these folks as representative of the wealthy Americans that are targeted by the tax. The people leading this movement may be recruiting a large number of people who share this unbalanced delusion about taxes and "big government" but it's clear there is also an ugly, nationalist, and frankly racist theme behind this new movement.

The leaders of right-wing talk are playing a dangerous game, tapping into a dark, paranoid underbelly of American politics. I've been following Orcinus pretty closely in the last few months and am increasingly disturbed by what I see. While we might want to dismiss the paranoid rantings of pundits like Beck, we should remember that such conspiratorial beliefs aren't meant to convince the masses. They exist to radicalize ideologues, and ideologues are dangerous, whether left-wing or right-wing. Conservatives may be furious that the the FBI and DHS are tracking right wing extremism, but I see this as a rare example of them actually seeing a threat coming, and being ready to do something about it. For those of us old enough to remember Oklahoma City, I don't think we should be dismissive about the terrorist potential of the militant right, especially with Beck and Limbaugh stoking the fires of paranoia.

Lets get patriots from all over to drive our cars to DC and saturate the roads surrounding the capital on a particular day, and at a particular time, park the streets full of stopped cars, lay on the the horn for a couple of hours, the march to the capital. Obama "likes" peaceful protest in Iran, lets see how much they like it here! They won't listen to all the phone calls! They still pass the crapislation. We have to rock the boat in a big way, or there will be nothing left to vote about.

We need easier ways to be counted, polled, and heard! There needs to be a more coordinated system for communication with all congressional "representatives." I think they still don't know the depth of our alarm, and besides, are hellbent on socialism regardless. But if they knew the depth of our anger, I think they would have to back off.

They not only need to STOP the massive spending, they need to REPEAL most every bill they passed since January 1, 2009!
